what's in your mailbox?

Just home from an action packed day. Work was busy. I was even quoted in the local paper related to work, but they got my name wrong - "Sue" instead of "Susan." But at least the quote was right!

Then off to pick up bloggy friend Omis who was in town on a layover for SkyHigh airlines. I dragged him to the Advent Peace Vigil (which went well), and then out for a beer and some conversation. Always nice to connect in real life with one's bloggy friends (Michelle, we still need to do that!).

Back to the subject line, I came home to find the following items in my mail box:
  1. Solicitation for a donation for the goodwork at Sojourners (no money - sorry)
  2. Solicitation for a donation for the goodwork at Network (still no money)
  3. Solicitation for a donation for the goodwork of the Carter Center (ditto)
  4. A notice that I am not eligible for a cash settlement from my cell phone provider (so, guess no extra money)
  5. A coupon for a free oil change, which of course I just had done (so, could have saved some money)
  6. A credit card offer - my credit is horrible, what are they thinking?

Hmmmm.... what does this say about me? What does it say about our world?

Don't know. All I know is it's off to bed for this tuckered out blogging girl.
