After a preview of beautiful summer weather, “the rains” have returned. I actually love a good Portland rain. Today it dawned on me … unless it’s raining on August 26th when I leave Portland for Novitiate, I won’t know which rainy day is my last rainy day in this rainy town. Which I guess means I just have to relish each and every rainy Portland day as if it’s my last!!

Ah that's a point. After July 5th, there won't be any rain until after you leave. :(
And it's July 5th specifically because half the time it has to rain on a major holiday. ;)
