The time is actually here for me to head across the pond. As regular readers know, I will be spending the next three months living with some of our Sisters from our UK Province in London for my first ministry experience of this 2nd year of the Novitiate. The idea is to experience life in our different provinces and to experience what full time ministry as a CSJP is like. The added bonus is that our community was founded in England, so I will be able to visit places that are at the heart of our founding story. Plus, I get to live in London. Need I say more?
I will be working at a day center for the homeless as my main ministry. I'll also be helping out one day a week at the offices of Pax Christi UK.
I'm planning to keep up the blog during my time in England. That said, I will probably not be posting quite so frequently. For one thing, I suspect I'll be using dial up service in my new house. For another, I'm going to be quite busy! But I'll try to post 2 or 3 days a week if possible. This will be my last post until I figure out the logistics and rhythm upon my arrival in London. So until then ...
Peace Out,
Susan

Susan,
Once again, have a safe trip over, and a wonderful, growthful experience in London.
I know it's not Wheeling, but please try not to be so unattractively jealous that I get to go to West Virginia for the fall while you're stuck in London.
I'm sure London is perfectly lovely in its own way, and anyway, not every novitiate can be equal.
Pax et bonum.
Wheeling will be great, you know!
Thanks for the well wishes. Same to you, my novicey friend.
It sounds like it's going to be a wonderful experience. Wish I could tag along in your suitcase.
Safe travels! You will be in my prayers as you begin this new chapter. Looking forward to hearing about it, too!
