Nun’s spiritual journey logged on her blog
BY BARBARA MULVEY LITTLE
Sister Susan started her blog, “Musings of a Discerning Woman,” in response to her own needs and yearnings. “I had spent countless hours searching the Internet looking for an answer to the question, ‘What should Susan do with her life?’ I never found that Web site, but I decided to share my own story on the off chance that it might be helpful to someone else,” she said last month in an e-mail interview from London. She continues the blog in hopes that her writings will help demystify her counter-cultural choice to enter religious life and to encourage others on their own journeys of life and faith.
Occasional musings of a Generation X Sister of St. Joseph of Peace. Read along as I live into a life of love and service as a modern day Catholic Sister (aka "nun") and continue to discern my call to "act justly, love tenderly and walk humbly with God."

Trans-Atlantic Interview
Last week I received an e-mail from a reporter at the Northwest Catholic Progress, the paper for the Archdiocese of Seattle. The result of my trans-Atlantic e-mail interview is now on their website. The reporter asked some great questions, and the interview was really a wonderful chance for me to look back on my journey so far with a lot of wonder and incredible gratitude.

Very nice article...also nice to get the background information on you. Sounds like you were blessed with loving parents...Mom sounds like a wonderful woman. Not surprised cause daughter seems very nice. God Bless!
