busy weekend

Hello there! I just realized that it's Sunday night and I haven't posted in a few days. That's because I've been BUSY!

On Saturday we had an event for some of the donors to our capital campaign to show off our beautiful new Peace & Spirituality Center here at west coast groovy sister hq. (You can take a virtual tour here). I've written before about our beautiful spot here on the Lake. Our new Peace & Spirituality Center will allow us to share this spot with church & non-profit groups for meetings and day retreats. I am so happy that we are expanding our ministry of peace & spirituality with this amazing new building-- and so grateful to all the donors who made it possible!

Today was more of a fun day - not that yesterday wasn't fun. I took a friend who was visiting from out of town on a Seattle tour. Now, Seattle is new to me so it's kind of funny that I was the one giving the tour, but we had a great time. The weather was gorgeous!

Well, so ends the weekend. I've got a busy week ahead! Coming from the space of the Novitiate, this takes some getting used to. It's important for me to make sure I take time for prayer and reflection and "me" time as well - but that, I think, is another blog post.
