What Your Thanksgiving Meal Says About You |
When it comes to the holidays, you follow and love the big traditions. You look forward to them every year. You see the holidays as a time to be close to loved ones. It's a good time to reconnect and make memories. You like the more adult aspects of the holidays - parties, cocktails, and having time off from work. During the holidays, you are likely to feel comforted. At your worst, you feel a bit over-indulgent. You consider yourself to be a bit of a purist, and you're proud of it. You tend to spend your holidays relaxing. Holidays are your down time. |
It's Holiday Time! I'm taking the day before and after Thanksgiving off work, so I have five whole days of time at home. My plans? Visit with my groovy sisters, clean my room and reorganize my belongings, a crafty project or two, and general relaxation. I'm really looking forward to it! I went straight from the relatively relaxed schedule of the novitiate to full time ministry. I can't wait to just spend a block of time at home!
This will also be my first Thanksgiving here at groovy sister hq - my 3rd community thanksgiving, but my first one with this particular group of Sisters. I'm really looking forward to it?
What are your plans for the holiday?

We often think a lot alike in the quiz things you post. It calls me a traditionalist, and that is so.
It has become a tradition to spend TG with family in AZ. Since I retired this year, we added the tradition of camping for a week beforehand--seeing places we hadn't been able to get to in working times.
