CommitmentMore to come ...
“The very name Sisters of Peace will, it is hoped, inspire the desire of peace and a love for it.” (Margaret Anna Cusack in the original 1884 Constitutions)
As people of peace, we commit ourselves:
* to non-violence grounded in contemplative prayer and reflection
* to non-violence practiced in our daily lives and ministries
* to non-violence in the protection of all life
* to active non-violence as we resist the reality of evil
Occasional musings of a Generation X Sister of St. Joseph of Peace. Read along as I live into a life of love and service as a modern day Catholic Sister (aka "nun") and continue to discern my call to "act justly, love tenderly and walk humbly with God."
