El Salvador Mission Stories

My friend (and fellow Sister of St Joseph of Peace named) Sister Susan left in December to take over our health care mission to the people of El Salvador. Paz Salud is a joint effort of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace and PeaceHealth, our hospital system.

Susan is blogging her experience of daily living in El Salvador. She's an excellent writer with a great perspective on the world. If you're looking for a new-to-you blogger, I'd definitely point yourself in her direction.

Right now Susan is learning the ropes from another one of our Sisters, Sister Eleanor, who started our El Salvador health mission 8 years ago. The mission brings volunteer doctors, nurses and CSJP Sisters and Associates to El Salvador for a week. They set up a temporary health clinic and provide much needed medical care to people in need in El Salvador.
