Today is Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. I'm waking up early to head to church before work. Looking forward to a day with a smudgy forehead. Of course, now that I work for a Catholic non-profit instead of in City Hall, I probably won't have people telling me all day long that I've got something on my forehead. No joke, used to happen all the time back in the day.
