My housemate Sr. Andrea has been in Milot, Haiti for a week now, coordinating supplies at the Hopital Sacre Coeur. Srs. Marilee, Maureen and Ann have been there since October, and in the weeks since the earthquake have poured their heart and soul into serving the almost 400 people who have swelled the 70 bed hospital.
I've read about the hospital and shared some of it here. But the reality of it has only started to come home to me since I saw this video prepared by a group of medical volunteers.
I ask you to watch it. To pray for their efforts there. To pray for the future of the many children you'll see who have amputated limbs. And to give, if you can, to the CRUDEM foundation. It will be money well spent.
