Time

It's Advent. Yes, that wonderful season before Christmas, although it would be hard to know that from looking around at the world around us. For most it seems, Christmas is already here. But those of us who celebrate the liturgical season get this special time of waiting for Jesus, who we know is coming. He always does, and he's already here. Such wonder, such mystery, such gift.

The next few weeks (like most weeks if I'm honest) are pretty busy for me. So I need to be very intentional about celebrating this season. Making room for the coming of Jesus, our peace, our hope, our light. Three things our world desperately needs these days.

If you are busy like me, here's a great resource from the folks at Busted Halo to help us live into the season ... a digital Advent Calendar.
