Ever since I got into the wonderful habit of making an annual retreat--which basically coincided with my entrance into religious life--I have used this time to take photographs of God's creation. Somehow my skills as a photographer are greatly increased during these times, I think because I'm so open to seeing with the eyes of my heart.
This retreat, I was gifted with a Scripture passage on the first night that I've never really spent much time with in the past. My Bible opened right to Proverbs 3 that first night, and I spent oodles of time with it. This picture below captures what for me is one of the main messages of this passage ...
