exciting news

We interrupt this work day to share the exciting news …..

I've been accepted as a novice!!!

Groovy Congregation Leader Sheila just called me at work to let me know it's "official." I'll get a letter in a few weeks when she gets back from her travels, but she wanted me to know as soon as possible.

How wonderful & exciting!!!!! I mean, I knew that this was where things were headed, but it's still a very cool feeling to know it's for real.

Reception as a novice will be August 26th out west. Entrance into the Novitiate will be September 8th in New Jersey. In the meantime I've got 3 months exactly from today of the bureaucratic grind.

Ok … back to work for a bit! I'll try not to be too distracted in my excitement!!

Peace Out,
Susan

Yay!!!!!

Very good decision on their part (and the Holy Spirit, of course). The Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace will be the most organized sisters ever! ;)

I'm sure the next three months will be busy busy busy. But if you have a free night, I still have my Father Ted video.

Hugs to ya from up the blocks.

So cool!!!!

And I just "officially" got my application and signed the "pre-candidate release form" with my own Groovy Sisters tonight as well! I'd been praying for some progress in this process, but, woah, I think I'm a lil' dizzy already!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
