In the words of one of my new favorite (if completely silly) bands, Art Brut ... Modern Art Makes Me Want to Rock Out (Wooh!).
On the more serious side, whatever art I happen to create tends to be on the modern art side. Now, perhaps this is because of my lack of talent! Or perhaps it is the idea of carving a new path. Right now I'm being modern in my crafts as well. I'm working on a cross stitch, but there's no pattern per se. I'm simply doing color blocks with varegated yarn. It may not make much sense, but I like it.
