It is hard for me to let go of relationships. I remember when, a few years ago, I finally let go of a very unhealthy friendship that I'd been holding onto since college. Somehow I hadn't realized that all of my other good college friends had let go of this unhealthy friendship years before. Anyway, one day I announced to my friend C that I'd finally given up on unhealthy friend. I started to explain why, and C stopped me to say, "You don't need to explain anything. I'm just so glad you finally realized unhealthy friend will never be healthy."
By the way, I love how my career choices include peace corps volunteer AND psychic!
