What Do Your Dreams Mean?
I've noticed a few major themes in my dreams, the top two being loss/change of identity and the messy inner work of transformation.
In the fall I had the following dream at least 5 times: I'm at the airport, ready to board a plane to an exotic desination but I can't get on the plane because I can't find my passport. Translation: I'm on this journey going to new and exciting places, but I don't have my old identity any more and I'm still working on finding my new identity. We had a presentation on dreams at our intercommunity novitiate program and this EXACT dream was in his list of top 10 Novitiate dreams.
Lately I've been having dreams about my coat. Losing my coat. My coat not fitting. Or most recently, my coat has been stolen and I don't know how I'll be able to afford a new coat on my modest monthly stipend. I'm guessing that dream series has something to do with my identity as well.
To say the least, my dream life is now much more interesting than it used to be!

That is interesting and explains some of the crazy dreams that I have been having lately. The other women who are entering with me in Aug are having similar dreams as well. I hope that we get a talk in this... does he have a tape out about it?
Brittany - If you check his website (linked on the next post) I think he has a tape on dreams in general, but not as regards the novitiate.
