One of the very exciting things on my horizon is my upcoming trip to El Salvador at the end of July. We have a health mission in El Salvador, although this trip is more of an immersion/study experience with other Sisters & Associates from the 3 provinces. I've been getting ready for the trip - getting vaccinations, purchasing bug spray & sunscreen. I've also been intending to learn some Spanish before I go. Note the word "intending."
However, today I discovered a great online tool courtesy of those folks at the BBC. They have wonderful free online tutorials in Spanish, French, German, Greek, Portuguese, and even Chinese & Urdu! I just spent an hour or so on the first Spanish lesson. I think I actually learned something and had some fun as well.
