The Senate is set to debate the Climate Change Security Act in early June. The Intercommunity Peace & Justice Center in Seattle (which our community sponsors) makes it easy to share your concerns on this important issue with your Senators. Visit their Legislative Alert Center to send an e-mail to your Senators. Their website includes suggested text or you can write your own letter encouraging your Senator to strengthen the bill.Help make sure that the final version will truly mitigate our climate crisis!

I went to the Legislative Alert Center to learn more about the bill; however, there is no description of its provisions.
