out and about

I'm most likely going to be away from the blog for a few days - although I will have the second installment of "Margaret Anna Fridays" tomorrow!

I'm headed to hang out with a young-nun friend tonight & tomorrow. I've jokingly been calling it a "play date." Seriously though, it is very important as a younger person entering religious life to make connections with other younger people in this life. Most of my connections are virtual, but its nice to have real life people to hang out with who get it! Plus, it's always good to take time for age appropriate fun.

Saturday I'm headed down to DC to visit with my Dad and another good friend. Since I'm headed back to Seattle in September, I thought I should take advantage of being geographically convenient one more time!

Hence, I most likely won't be back to the blog until Monday or Tuesday. Until then ....
