community time

Oodles of CSJP Sisters & Associates from the western US are gathered at west coast groovy sister hq (aka St. Mary-on-the-lake) for our community assembly weekend. It's a time of reconnection, prayer, discussion and celebration.

Charlene Diorka, SSJ was our presenter today. She is the Associate Director of the National Religious Vocations Conference. She invited us to reflect on the implications of the Vocation Study that came out last year. We had wonderful conversations as we considered our future. Last night, a group of us decided to get the weekend started with a bit of fun with a little bit of bowling. I haven't been bowling in a few years, but hope to go again soon. It was definitely fun to celebrate St. Joseph's Day by bowling with some of my Sisters!

Tomorrow morning it's back to St. Mary-on-the-lake for more community time!
