Forever

Signing the community vow book!
Last night was a truly wonderful celebration.  In the company of my CSJP community, family and friends from all parts of my past, present and future life I professed vows of poverty, celibacy and obedience for life according to the Constitutions of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace.

Followed by dancing, which I felt was entirely appropriate.  My 18 month old nephew, somehow not phased by the two hour time difference, stayed up late into the night dancing to Abba, Beyonce, Cindi Lauper, B52s, and the Macarena, to name a few.  It was really very fun, and a treat to see my friends and my Sisters dancing together.

I'm spending time with family this weekend.  Will be back to the world on Tuesday. More pictures and some video will come ... stay tuned!

In the meantime, thanks for all the prayers and bloggy love.

Sister this has been a wonderful experience to have shared from disposing of things in your Portland appartment to this major point. Thank you so very much (it has been something very positive during the illness and death of my husband of 50 years) May God continue to bless you.
