so much to read, so little time

Of Time Magazine’s 100 best English language novels since they’ve been in existence, I’ve read:

Animal Farm - George Orwell

Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret - Judy Blume
Beloved - Toni Morrison
The Blind Assassin - Margaret Atwood (preferred Handmaids Tale)
The Catcher in the Rye - J.D. Salinger
Death Comes for the Archbishop - Willa Cather
The Grapes of Wrath - John Steinbeck
The Great Gatsby - F. Scott Fitzgerald
The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter - Carson McCullers
Invisible Man - Ralph Ellison
The Lord of the Rings - J.R.R. Tolkien
Mrs. Dalloway - Virginia Woolf
Native Son - Richard Wright
1984 - George Orwell
On the Road - Jack Kerouac
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest - Ken Kesey
Their Eyes Were Watching God - Zora Neale Hurston
To Kill a Mockingbird - Harper Lee
To the Lighthouse - Virginia Woolf
Ubik - Philip K. Dick Dick (one of my all time favorite authors, although Flow My Tears the Policeman Said is a better novel imho)

That's no where near 100 - I’ve got a lot of reading to do. You can see the whole list on Cathy Knits.

Lorem, did you see Ms. Blume made the list?????

um...how about comics? I've read some comics: X-men, Groo, Fantastic Four, The Flash, Superman, Spiderman...would that pass as literary?

I think my favorite Atwood novel is "Cat's Eye."

I've read about half of those, liked even fewer. But so glad to see a 'pop' novel as 'Margaret' included.
