question of the day

Today at lunch time Jesus asked me, "What do you want me to do for you?"

Well, actually it was in
today's Gospel reading that I heard at noon mass today. And he was asking the blind man, who wanted to see.

“What do you want me to do for you?”
He replied, “Lord, please let me see.”
Jesus told him, “Have sight; your faith has saved you.” (Luke 18)

"What do you want me to do for you?"

It is a good question. A big question. One of THE questions when you get down to it. Up there with "Who do you say I am."

What do I want from that Jesus guy? If it's just one thing, I think it's the strength to follow him. Just a small little tiny thing, that ... After all, all I need is the faith of a small mustard seed, right? ;) ...

Hmmm.....

Lord, I believe; help my unbelief.
