Well, it’s happened. The inevitable, with all the driving I've been doing to and from groovy sister reserves. Well, not inevitable I suppose if I was a good sister-to-be and always stayed within the speed limit. Yep, you guessed it. Yesterday evening on my way home from another episode of groovy sister reserves in Seattle I got a little too engrossed in my book on tape and put my foot a little too heavily on the gas pedal. And of course this was observed by a nice man in a car with pretty lights on top. Which is why you can call me Sr. Lead Foot! Oh well, what are you going to do?
Aside from that addendum, it was a great weekend per usual. I met with the formation director and my mentor yesterday for my 1st reflection on candidacy. Went well. Also had a chance to chat with my formation director about the report from the psychologist. That also went well. No surprises there … I’m just as crazy as I thought I was! :) Of course he didn't know I had a lead foot!
But now it’s off to a busy week at my non nun-to-be job. Important stuff going on at the moment. Need to be fully there, with my head at least if not my heart.
Happy Monday to you all!

I can feel your pain on the speeding ticket. Had that happen a few years ago myself.
I really enjoy reading about your spiritual journey. Keep writing!
Peace.
Ooops. Sorry for that.
I too have trouble thinking and driving at the same time. It's so easy to get engrossed in a book on tape ... or daydreams ....
