new bloggy toy

I've added a new virtual greenhouse feature on the right ... my brother sent me a virtual bouquet! The catch is, if you don't "water" the plants they die.

By the way, I'm back from my week at the shore. It was GREAT! I helped get the house in order Friday night for a retreat with Fr. Michael Crosby, and was able to sit in on one of his conferences. He has an interesting take on the beatitudes.

It also turns out that one of the retreatants reads the blog. The world of virtual relationships that is the internet is an interesting thing, and now apparently applies to virtual plant life as well!

We're attending the Summer Institute at Fordham University this week. Our presenters are Sandra Schneiders, IHM and Megan McKenna. Good stuff, but I'm on data overload so I don't think I'll get back to regular blogging until the weekend.

Hi Susan,

Would this happen to be the Stella Maris Retreat Center where you often go? I have been thinking of going up there for a retreat!

Yes it is the Stella Maris Retreat Center in Elberon, NJ. It truly is a sacred place. You'd love it I'm sure!
