Happy Election Day! If you are a registered voter and haven't done so already, be sure to vote!
Also, please join me in praying for all those folks who are working marathon hours to ensure that our democratic process works. Trust me, they're going to need it!
God of all people, we give thanks to you today for the men and women who work to make our democratic process work. We ask you to be with elections administrators and poll workers this Election Day. Give them strength and patience so they may deal with the unexpected gracefully. Help them to focus and find the energy they need to ensure that every vote is counted accurately in a timely fashion. We ask you this as always in the name of Jesus, your son and our brother. Amen.
