Occasional musings of a Generation X Sister of St. Joseph of Peace. Read along as I live into a life of love and service as a modern day Catholic Sister (aka "nun") and continue to discern my call to "act justly, love tenderly and walk humbly with God."

Wow. That's beautiful. Thank you, Sr Susan - I needed to see that today.

This picture reminds me very much of one of my own favourites, 'The Resurrection, Cookham', painted about 30 years later by the British artist Sir Stanley Spencer (1891-1959) and on display at Tate, London. Spencer painted the churchyard of his home town of Cookham as the setting for the resurrection of the dead. You'll see the painting here: http://www.tate.org.uk/servlet/ViewWork?workid=13675
Thank you for joining me for lunch. Absolute blessing to have met you!
Don't you just love the Institute?!
