This quiz is kind of funny. I've written before about wanting to be a punk rock nun, but indie nun is more accurate. What am I talking about? Well, ever since I decided that the groovy sister thing was the way to go, I've also been having this overwhelming desire to be an indie-groovy-sister ... keep up on indie music, go to shows, etc... Part of it I think is spending time in Seattle where I get to listen to KEXP. And even though I know I'll be the only one in my community who likes to listen to indie rock and go to indie rock shows (although maybe I'll be a trend setter), that's ok with me. Because I've always been the only person I know to like certain bands (i.e. Throwing Muses) and in a minority of my friends with others (Built to Spill and Stereolab being cases in point). Doesn't bother me one bit ... I guess sometimes I do like something just because it's weird!
